Last year OBERER was out and did repair work on the chimney and masonry work on the porch We were pleased with their work and their prices. Fast forward to this year when all the rains came to the tristate. WE called OBERER again. We had a bad leak in our walk-in closet where the chimney goes through and also the fireplace. The problem was a chimney cap. We have been homeowners for 50 years and have had many workers in our home. Never have we had better service then OBERER Their honesty and integrity are unmatched. They honor their warranties and were a pleasure to deal with. Anybody needing masonry and concrete work should definitively give them a call. Gary and his sons and his crew are old school and have exceptional work ethics. Service like we had with both issues just does not happen in our society today.

I called for a chimney inspection and Gary came to my house and I explained that I had a leak in my family room. He had me open up the ceiling where the leak was and call him when it was ready. He came back the next day to determine where the leak was and he determined it was the flashing around the chimney. He referred me to a roofing company. I tried to pay him something for his time, but he refused. You don't find people like that today if and when I need a construction company, he's the one I'll call.

They did such a good job on the first two projects that I used them again to re-build the rock walls in four landscape areas and I had the replace a retaining wall and steps made out of railroad ties with stone work to match my other existing stone work. The work looks great, in fact two of my neighbors have hired them to do work for them as well. The crew did a great job matching my existing work, cleaned up as they went and stayed on schedule even though there were a number of rainy days along the way. These guys will get an concrete work that I have in the future.
